Old Home Movies
This is a really good place to start your journey through the history of Dixon. No serious demands on your participation. Let's start off with some Old Home movies taken by Dixon natives of Dixon subjects and personalities between 1938 and 1960.
Joe Azevedo's digitized 16mm movies of Dixon events of the 1950's. Joe has given us three interesting videos that will most certainly bring back memories of the Dixon of 70 years ago. If you are not old enough to remember the '50's, just have a look at some of the parades and celebrations of yesterday and consider it a history lesson. What do you think: does history repeat itself?
